Broken Arm Community...Heals (part 2)

  1. Thank you so much for this. I am in that waiting place right now. I recently realized that I need to allow more help and support in my life from friends and collagues who are in the same situation. When I connect and let those others in, the world looks quite different and the waiting is bearable and what I am waiting for stops being ALL there is in the world.

PS...I'm glad your arm is better!

  2. Hey, Doug. Nice video and I am glad for your healed hand. I watched from my ocean view porch visiting Matt and Megan Sweet. Hope to see you when we return.

  3. Thanks for the comments about waiting with community. I know that having support is vital to my personal journey, yet I struggle to let people into the vulnerable places in my life. It seems easier when there is a visible manifestation of brokenness (a cast or unemployment), but more challenging when the brokeness is hidden (depression, loss of a dream). Still I believe a living breathing community is so vital to living in Christ.
